Vulpio is a friendlier place to gather — Dens with rooms, one-link invites, and conversations the service cannot read. No homeserver. No third-party client hunt.

How it works

A Den is a home, not a homeserver.

If you already know how to live in servers and rooms, you already know Vulpio. The difference is the container: every room belongs to a Den you can recognize, invite people into, and moderate.

You never pick infrastructure. One official app. One invite. Then you are in the room with your people.

01 · Invite

Someone sends a link

A Den invite looks like vulpio.app/join/7FQ2-KM9P. It names the Den, not a server farm.

02 · Official app

Open Vulpio

Windows, Android, or the web. There is no client list and no homeserver picker.

Rooms stay inside the Den

Text, voice, members, and roles live in one place. New members decrypt messages sent after they join.

Built for circles

Familiar on purpose. Friendlier on purpose.

The layout you already have in your hands

Dens on the left, rooms in the middle, conversation in front of you, members on the right. If you have used Discord, you already know where to look — without the stadium energy or the shop.

For clubs, families, and working groups

Book circles, neighborhood groups, choirs, civic crews, classrooms, and small shops. Vulpio is community chat first. Games can visit. They do not own the room.

The room stays closed

Messages, attachments, and calls are end-to-end encrypted on member devices. The service has no routine technical path to decrypt them.

Voice, video, screens

Talk on the porch, see each other, or share a page. Media is encrypted end to end above the call transport.

Invites, roles, moderation

Owner, Administrator, Moderator, Member. Kick, ban, lock rooms, and review reports without a plugin store.

Direct messages with consent

Private conversations start with a request. Blocking is mutual. Safety numbers are there if you want to compare them.

Threads, polls, pins, events

Replies, reactions, calendars, and on-device search over the messages this device can already decrypt.

Bots the Den can see

Administrators can add a Den-owned bot as a visible encrypted participant, with scoped, revocable credentials.

The latch

Quiet when the room is sealed.

Your messages, attachments, and calls are end-to-end encrypted. Vulpio’s service has no routine technical path to decrypt your content. Participants can still disclose content through reports, recordings, screenshots, or integrations they choose.

What stays on devices

Ordinary room text, attachments, direct messages, and call media. The server stores ciphertext, not the keys to read it.

What the service can still see

Accounts, membership, room structure, delivery timing, and that a call happened. We publish that limit instead of pretending it is not there.

A worn wooden door with a copper latch, lamplight, and a folded letter on a table.

The room stays closed.
